The PCAN-PC/104-Plus card is a high-performance solution for connecting two CAN networks with a PC/104-Plus system. It is possible to use this for up to four cards stacked on top of each other in one system. Electrical adjustment to the position of the card in the pile is carried out with jumpers.
The card is equipped with the "SJA1000" CAN controller and the "82C251" driver. Connection to the CAN bus is done via a 10-pin upright connector to which the slot bracket supplied with the 9-pin D-SUB connector can be connected (pin assignment in accordance with standard recommendation CiA DS 102-1). The opto-decoupled version of the PCAN-PC/104-Plus card (optional) guarantees galvanic isolation of up to 500 volts between PC/104-Plus and the CAN using an integrated DC/DC converter and optocoupler.

The PCAN-PC/104-Plus card package includes software for Windows® and sample sources for in-house programming. Driver sources for LINUX are also available.
