The new Tour mode of the PCAN-FMS Simulator 2.5 allows the comfortable execution of projects which have been preconfigured for specific use cases, e.g. training drives. The project is initiated by the new Tour Starter. The software opens the cockpit window in full screen mode and shows, in addition to the conventional view, further information about the current drive. At the start of the tour, trace and log data and other information such as fuel consumption and average speed can be collected for later analysis.
Another innovation is the portable single computer license. It is now possible to install and operate the software on different computers. In order to activate the software, the supplied copy protection dongle must be inserted into a USB port.
