Remarks

Several message types can be combined (bit mask value).

  Important

Messages with type PCAN_MESSAGE_XL, PCAN_MESSAGE_PROTOCOL_EXCEPTION, PCAN_MESSAGE_ERROR_NOTIFICATION, or a combination of them, can only be sent/received using the WriteXL and ReadXL methods.
