how to change the image for the toolbar button using AddIn

Postby Mohammad » Thu 4. May 2017, 11:53

Hello,

I am using the PCAN-Explorer 5.
i have made my own Add-In written in c# based on the c# sample in the PCAN folder. I have tried to change the image for the toolbar button but it didn’t work.

If I understood the sample right, this is connected to the Image-IDnumber "128" (in the Addin.cs file).

could you please tell me where we got the 128 ? or it would be great if yoou may tell me how to change the Icon.

Thank you,

Mohammad

Hi,

the toolbar bitmap is stored in the binary resource file Resources\Main.res.
Open it in Visual Studio, expand the Bitmap node, and replace the bitmap with ID 128.
