News Linux Driver 9

Version 9.0.0 of our PCAN-Linux driver for CAN CC, CAN FD, and CAN XL interfaces is now available. The most important features are:

  • Support of the CAN XL protocol and the PCAN-USB XL interface through the chardev as well as the netdev API
  • Redesign of internal frame management to accommodate variable sizes up to 2KB
  • Redesign of timestamp management to handle nanosecond precision
  • Includes PCAN-Basic for Linux version 5 with CAN XL support
  • Include Linux v6.19 support
