New Cables for PAE-Media Converter

With the PAE-Cable H-MTD and the PAE-Cable MATEnet, we are expanding our Automotive Ethernet portfolio with matching connection cables for the PAE-Media Converter.

Both cable variants are built around the two leading Single-Pair Ethernet connector standards and can therefore be used not only with the PAE-Media Converter, but with any device equipped with H-MTD® or MATEnet ports.
The PAE-Cable H-MTD connects two H-MTD® sockets and is suitable for 100BASE-T1 and 1000BASE-T1 connections. H-MTD® (High-speed Modular Twisted-pair Data, developed by Rosenberger) is, alongside MATEnet, one of the two dominant connector standards for Single-Pair Ethernet in modern vehicle network architectures. The PAE-Cable MATEnet connects two MATEnet sockets accordingly and covers the second widely used SPE connector standard, developed by TE Connectivity, which is likewise established for 100BASE-T1 and 1000BASE-T1 applications in vehicle networks and test environments.
Both cables are shielded, 2.0 m in length, and of type GG 2Speed® 251. Other lengths and custom cable assemblies are available on request. Together with the PAE-Media Converter, which supports both connector types in a single housing, developers now have matching cable solutions to connect Automotive Ethernet components directly to development, analysis, and validation environments without additional adapters.
