News PLIN Linux Driver First Release

Following our successful Linux driver for our CAN and CAN FD interfaces, we can now provide a Linux driver for our LIN interfaces. 

The free package can be found in the Linux section of our website and includes the driver, utilities, and a quick start guide. After downloading, the driver must be compiled with the current Linux kernel and then installed. The driver is then loaded automatically as soon as a LIN interface from PEAK-System is connected. With the current version 1.3.0, all current and former LIN interfaces from PEAK-System are supported: PLIN-USB, PCAN-USB Pro FD, and PCAN-USB Pro.

For this occasion, we have revised the Linux section of our website and divided it into CAN and LIN. You will find basic information on our new driver, the download, and a detailed version history. 

The Linux section can now also be accessed directly via the subdomain https://linux.peak-system.com.
